Barrister Eric Bayo is an attorney at Enonchong Chambers, admitted to the Cameroon Bar in 2008. His practice is centered on business law and international arbitration, with a second strand of work for individuals in real estate, family property and immigration matters.

Practice

On the business side, he advises on insurance, air transport, banking and financial markets, and on investment. He is certified in international arbitration law, with training in investment arbitration and in sports law, and represents clients in arbitral proceedings.

For individuals, he handles real estate transactions and disputes, family property matters, and visa and asylum questions.

Education and appointments

He trained at the University of Douala, where he earned a Diplôme d’études universitaires générales (DEUG) in law, a Licence in private law and a Maîtrise in business law, with a specialization in banking, insurance, transport and international trade. He then obtained a certification in international arbitration law from the Collège de Paris / Ascencia Business School in Paris.

He represents the Bar on the legal aid commission of the Court of First Instance of Douala-Bonanjo, and has taken part in seminars in Washington, Paris, Brussels and Switzerland on emerging areas of legal practice, including digital law.
